Mrs. Venosdale's Classroom
Welcome to our classroom blog. It is called Spinning Gears because that represents our classroom: constantly in motion, thinking, moving, and learning. We are like gears because we work together to keep things going smoothly! We hope you enjoy reading about our classroom learning experiences and will stop by again!

Today we’re thinking about creating logic games! We’re playing a few games, boosting our thinking skills, and planning to create games with a creature and habitat theme.

We’re learning how these quick logic games work by trying out some online versions this site.

We also enjoyed Crayon Physics which is really similar to a game many students knew from the past “Fantastic Contraption” and “PlayAudiotorium“.    Then we found Little Wheel and Red Remover.    Or if you just feel like solving a quick, but TRICKY puzzle, try the ones at Unipuzzle.  These games all challenge your mind, stretch your brain, and are a lot of fun, too!

Today was a wonderful day! Fourth grade authors got the chance to take their published works to our Primary building and read to first graders. Our stories were developed throughout September and October. We researched animals, researched cities, and then put the two together to write a creative tale about an animal living in that city. Can you imagine an elephant living in Denver? Well, we did!
