We toured the capitol, got to sit on the floor of the House, received a flag for our school that was flown over the capitol on inauguration day, and got to experience our legislative branch firsthand with a tour by State Rep. Carnahan. It was exciting!

Up early and on the road again! We’re ready for breakfast, a tour inside the Nation’s Capitol, and a trip to the Smithsonian! It’s amazing how great you feel after a good night of sleep. Pics of the Capitol coming later. For now, good morning, DC!
