Mrs. Venosdale's Classroom
Welcome to our classroom blog. It is called Spinning Gears because that represents our classroom: constantly in motion, thinking, moving, and learning. We are like gears because we work together to keep things going smoothly! We hope you enjoy reading about our classroom learning experiences and will stop by again!

In case you missed our Open House this year, here is an online tour of our elementary GATE room.

C’mon in….just pass through the GATE to get to GATE room… get it?  Pun, although cheesy, was completely intended.

View when you enter our room.

Our official GATE banner.  Can you find the letters in each one?

Another view of the room…

Our little game area.  The basket holds a few of students’ favorite brainteasing games.   Do you have a small, quick card game or puzzle that you use in your regular or gifted classroom? I’d love to hear about it!  I’m always looking for more!

Our Marquee because I hope everyday is a bit like a broadway show… full of excitement, busy times, funny times, serious moments, and you walk away with something to think about.

Our table organizers… scissorless… because I still haven’t located this scissors!  There’s always one item missing when you unpack for the new year, isn’t there?

One of my all time favorite quotes…

Our alley…for backpack, jacket, and lunchbox storage.  Don’t worry…there aren’t any rats in our alley!

I hope you enjoyed the tour of our classroom!
