He’s Ready to Roam…

Welcome to the official Roaming Gnome Online Project Site. The Gnome has thankfully been requested by classrooms all over the United States and will begin his travels this fall. He is excited to start his journey all over the world. Thanks so much to the teachers that have emailed to help us!
There is still time to host the gnome! This coming school year, our little gnome will travel the globe to try to see the world and he wants to visit you and your students! If you are willing to host him, leave a comment here on the blog with your email address or email Mrs. V at ktvenos@yahoo.com with “Roaming Gnome Request” in the subject line. I’ll contact you with more details and to add your address to the official list!
What does it take to host him? The Roaming Gnome will be mailed to you, then you’ll take a few photos of him visiting your school or town. When he arrives, he’ll have a password to this Roaming Gnome Blog for you to post an entry to his journal. Be creative and share whatever you like about your town or state. Share photos of favorite area foods, landmarks, the gnome being silly, your school, attractions, anything! All grade levels are welcome! Then we’d ask that you please return him promptly in his self addressed envelope so he can continue on his journey.
